I signed the contract for the Czech Republic translation of Freddie & Me today. No real idea when that version will come out, but I assume it will be sometime in the next 18 months or so.

This is a pretty cool feeling. I think more foreign editions are on the horizon, but this is the first one to get nailed down. I think it's got to be awesome for any author to get his or her work translated, but I kind of feel that it's a slightly more bizarre feeling for people like me who've written autobiographical comics to have it done. It's strange to think of someone in the Czech Republic reading about me and my sister bickering when we were kids.
