My picture is of Yorick leaving his apartment for the first time, and discovering that all of the men are dead.

I first read all of the “Y” trade-paperbacks at the same time that the Scissor Sisters second album “Tah-Dah” came out. I had many a subway ride into work with my iPod on listening to that while I read. Because of that, I associate the two, especially the song “Land of a thousand words”, which now always makes me think of Yorick and his companions making their way across the world.
